JOHN A. O'REILLY FRIAI ARCHITECT
Ballyvaughan House
An abandoned tailor's cottage from the 1930's, on the Coast Road, was restored and extended.
The new main living space is framed by walls of books alternating with views of the beautiful surrounds.
The dramatically changing light of the Atlantic Coast moves through this space, and is caught in the soft lustre of the polished screed floor.

Completed 2008.
Awarded "Best Re-Use / Addition",
Clare Co. Council Design Awards 2005 -10.
